~I love you~
You kneeled down next to a crying little boy, wiping away his tears.
"Mommy, I tripped and scraped my elbow!" He cried.
You smiled at your little boy. He'd grown so fast in only a few years. You picked him up, hugging him tight.
"America!" You called to your husband, "our son got himself hurt!"
"It was an accident, mommy!" The little boy said, squirming in your grip.
America walked outside holding your daughter. He smiled sweetly, giving a small chuckle at you and your feisty son.
"Come inside and we'll fix him up, poor little dude!" America laughed, walking back in and setting your daughter down.
The two siblings were twins, actually. The boy had bright blue eyes and short [your h/c] hair. The girl had your eyes and longer dirty-blonde hair. Both children had one hair sticking out, the boy a cowlick and the girl a hair curl.
You walked over to the kitchen sink where America stood. Setting the feisty little boy on the counter, you patted his head gently.
"Now, let's see what kind of scrape you got!" You said, wiping away a stray tear from the little one.
He held his arm out, having a scratch on his elbow that you knew would heal fine. America grabbed a wash cloth and started cleaning the small wound, listening to the child whine.
"Hey America, remember that time you made that glass fall and tried picking up the pieces? Your hand was bleeding and I had to bandage you up!" You giggled, remembering the incident. It had been over five years since that happened.
"Oh shut up..." He said, remembering it pretty vividly. He had a small scar on his hand now, but it was just barely noticeable.
You laughed, grabbing a band-aid to put on your child's cut.
"There!" You stated, happy with your and America's team work.
"Momma, did you feels him better?*" Your little girl, who was now standing next to you, asked, her speech still underdeveloped.
You giggled, "Yes dear, your brother will be fine."
America smiled at the cute scene. He never thought there was a such thing as a perfect family, yet there they were, and he was the father.
"Good! That means I can beat him up if he's being mean!" She stated with a toothy smile.
Well, most of the time, it was perfect.
"Daddy, where are we goiiiing???" Your little girl complained, not liking walking so much.
America picked her up and put her on his back, holding her legs so she wouldn't fall, "We're just going to a special place, that's all!"
You smiled, then heard your little boy speak up, "Momma why does she get to ride on daddy's back!"
Laughing, you picked the child up, putting him on your back, which made made him happier.
Soon enough, you all arrived at the 'special place' America was talking about. It was nearly sunset, too.
You and America set the kids down, watching your children run up the hill and flop down at the top, rolling back down, like most children would. They laughed the whole time, enjoying the soft grass.
"Special place?" You looked at America, smiling.
"Well, it is where I made the best decision of my life." He said, as if it were obvious.
"Well- making you mine forever officially more of." He smiled.
You hugged him tight, making him laugh. Your two kids called you two, wanting you to join them by the hill. You let go and walked over, sitting down next to your daughter.
America looked at your son, smirking.
"...Daddy?" He asked, a little freaked out.
"Iiiiii'm going to GET YOU!" He laughed, chasing his son, who was also laughing.
You and your daughter giggled, saying how boys were weird. Soon America had caught the little boy and ran over to you, sitting down. He took his glasses off and put them in his pocket.
"America? Why did you-" You started, but were cut off by America tickling you, along with your two children.
It was a fun day, that's for sure. But what day with America and your two children wasn't perfect?
At sunset, the four of you cuddled at the top of the hill, watching the sun fall below the mountains.
"___?" America said, looking at you with his shining bright blue eyes.
"I love you..."
"I love you too, America." You smiled, sharing a kiss with him.
~And I'll love you forever~
